Dr. Joseph Reda, O.D.
Dr. Reda started this practice in 1972, pioneering the idea of preventive eye care. He has committed himself to developing the most comprehensive, professional optometric practice in South Jersey.
Dr. Reda received his Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry and B.S. degree from Thiel College. He is past president of the Eastern Orthokeratology Society, and a member of the National Eye Research Foundation, the American Optometric Association, and the National Institute for Sports Vision. Dr. Reda also had the privilege of serving on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania College of Optometry’s School of Practice management.
Dr. Reda has 3 daughters and grandchildren living in South Jersey. He and his wife Lorraine, an interior designer, make their home in Delanco NJ.
Dr. Alan Bacho, O.D.
Dr. Bacho was born and raised in Mars, Pennsylvania. He graduated with honors from Gannon University with a B.S. degree in Health Sciences. For his Doctorate he attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry where he was a member of the Board of Trustees, the president of the Gold Key Honor Society, and a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society.
Dr. Bacho worked with an eye surgeon before joining our practice in 1988. His field of interest includes pediatrics, contact lenses, laser surgery, cataracts, glaucoma and pathology.
He has four children and they all work part time at the office. He and his family make their home in Cinnaminson, New Jersey.
Our Knowledgeable Staff
Steve our laboratory manager has been with us for over 20 years. He is the heart of our office, the one all of us turn to when we have a need. In addition to making most of the glasses we dispense, he brings a devotion to excellence that is only exceeded by his love of people.
Karen is in charge of our communications. She has been with the office since 1989. She knows many of you by your name or face. Hers is the voice you will most likely hear when it’s time for your next eye examination.
Candice can do just about any task you give her. She has been with us since 2002. She currently runs the front of the clinic, coordinating techs, scheduling, and accounting. She can also help you with many of your contact lens needs.
Ashlee has been with the office since 1999. She came to us as a student right out of school and now manages Optical. Ashlee does an incredible job staging the sales area and is responsible for all the great frame designs you will see. She is comfortable in the clinic also having been a chair side tech and running the contact lens department. She has also been the surgical coordinator for all Lasik patients. If you need a contact lens, Lasik evaluation or just a friendly smile, she can happily provide them all.
Jackie is the smiling face that greets at the front desk. Jackie has been with us since 2003. She is usually the one you hear when you call the office and the first person you encounter when you enter the office.
Dorothy runs our contact lens department, handles all of our contact lens ordering, and is responsible for getting your lenses to you. She is the head technician and is responsible for much of the pretesting and specialized testing in our office.
Angela assists Candice with insurance and bookkeeping. She can also be relied upon to do pretesting and chair side assisting. In addition, Angela is a graduate of Rowan University.
Alan can be seen doing anything from pretesting to landscaping. He helps with any interior projects such as painting, and any outdoor jobs such as planting to keep the office looking professional. He can also be seen working alongside Steve or Ashlee making glasses in optical. Alan is currently studying at Cabrini College. He works part time at the office, and is one of Dr. Bacho’s sons.
Carolynn works alongside Angela and Dorothy doing pretesting. She is studying nursing at Neumann University. Carolynn works part time when she is not busy with schoolwork, and is one of Dr. Bacho’s daughters.
Stephanie is our doctor’s assistant. She can be seen alongside the doctors helping out with exams during the day. Stephanie works part time in the summer when she is not busy with sports and her schoolwork at Holy Cross High School. She is also one of Dr. Bacho’s daughters.
David maintains a wide range of jobs. He can be seen working with Alan on any painting, cleaning, or landscaping jobs, or working with Ashlee on any jobs concerning the optical department. David works part time, and studies at Holy Cross High School. He is also one of Dr. Bacho’s sons.
Lindsey is one of our pretest technicians. She also helps with scheduling appointments and other administrative tasks
